Implementaion
GNI
has started the deployment of a major passive optical LAN network at
Catholic Healthcare Systems, Terrance Cardinal Cook Center, 5th
Ave in Manhattan, covering an entire city block.
It is comprised of over 94,000 feet of single mode optical fiber
(Corning LANscape structured cabling) serving over 1300 desktops,
enterprise servers and 89 wireless access points -- the first of it's
kind in the New York Metro area.
